On the Day 1 of CES, Mercedes-Benz teased its concept car named AVTR, for Advanced Vehicle Transformation.
The concept car has no steering wheel or pedals because it’s theoretically autonomous. The interior has a wide-sweeping display that seems to cover and curve over the entire front dash.
The user can control the vehicle by touching the center console & then the car can recognize the driver’s pulse and breath. The vehicle is made from recyclable materials, which are compostable and recyclable.
Apart from this Sony has also revealed its concept car, the vehicle is a prototype designed to show off the firm’s sensors and in-car entertainment technologies. On the dashboard an ultra-wide panoramic screen “for driving information and entertainment” is placed.
On the internal features, car has sensing technology that can detect occupants of the vehicle and recognise them, in order to allow for gesture control of the entertainment systems.A total of 33 sensors has been placed in the Sony’s Vision S prototype.
